The Department of Neurology & Psychiatry at Saint Louis University, which is a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and service, continues major expansion of clinical and research programs. The Department is seeking junior and mid-career academic neurologists with specialized training in epilepsy. Our comprehensive epilepsy program is focused on all aspects of care for persons with epilepsy. Facilities include a 5 bed monitoring unit with up-to-date digital systems, and access to state-of the art imaging, including: 3 Tesla MRI with spectroscopy, 64 Slice PET/CT, SPECT and magnetoencephalography. The individuals would work within an active epilepsy monitoring unit in close collaboration with neurosurgeons. The Epilepsy Center is supported by an active Clinical Research Unit. Start-up packages will be tailored to individual needs. Academic appointments are commensurate with an individual’s experience. Some positions are provided in collaboration with the St. Louis Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
