Clinical Epileptologist – Cleveland Clinic Florida

The Department of Neurology at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston/Fort Lauderdale, Florida has a faculty position opening for a well-qualified Epileptologist with a special interest and advanced fellowship training in Epilepsy.

The candidate must be board eligible or board certified in Neurology. Proficiency in the surgical treatment of epilepsy, outpatient management of epilepsy, ICU monitoring, EEG, EEG correlation with neuron-imaging, intracranial electrode stimulation and functional mapping, SPECT, WADA Testing, FD Glucose PET, intensive care unit with epilepsy monitoring capabilities, surgical monitoring including grid and depth electrode placement functional mapping is required.

This individual would develop a significant specialty focused practice, while also being involved in the full spectrum of general neurology. The candidate would join seven established neurologists at the Clinic. The applicant should have an interest in teaching residents; as we sponsor an ACGME accredited neurology residency training program.
