The Department of Neurology at The Methodist Hospital Physician Organization, The Methodist Neurological Institute in Houston, Texas is recruiting Neurologists with subspecialty training and board certification/eligibility in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy. The Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at The Methodist Hospital have a long standing tradition of excellence. The Methodist Hospital is recognized by US News & World Report as one of the nation's best hospitals and the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery have consistently been ranked in the top ten departments in the last several years. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of a comprehensive epilepsy surgery program including outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, routine EEGs, diagnostic phase I & II VEEG monitoring and pre- and post surgical management. The program is supported by a multidisciplinary team with physicians and personnel from Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Psychiatry, Nuclear medicine and Pathology. The facilities are state of the art with a dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, 3T and functional MRI Imaging, SPECT and PET.
