Post doctoral research position available at the Surgical Epilepsy Research Program at the Comprehensive Epilepsy Centers of Hofstra University/North Shore LIJ. A multimodal analysis approach is performed in order to examine cognitive and sensorimotor processes as well as seizure spread in patients undergoing invasive monitoring for epilepsy surgery. Research interests include intracranial electrophysiology/corticography, functional neuroimaging, electrical stimulation mapping, seizure prediction and brain-machine interface. Local, national and international collaborations with other groups with similar interests will provide a rich environment and opportunity for career development and growth.
