As an Employee of Scottsdale Healthcare, you will have exceptional team support and necessary resources for the development and on-going success of World Class Epilepsy Program. Scottsdale Healthcare Shea is seeking a Neurologist fellowship trained in Epilepsy to establish and run an epilepsy program which will encompass an outpatient epilepsy clinic and operation of an epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) at Scottsdale Healthcare. In addition, the Neuro-Hospitalist/Epileptologist will provide approximately 8 weeks per year on the Neuro-Hospitalist Service. The Neuro Hospitalists are responsible for patient care from evaluation in the emergency department including consultation of Neuro Trauma patients through discharge of patients on the Neuro-Hospitalist/Epileptologist service. All in-patient and out-patient clinical services will provide at the SHC Shea Campus, located in desirable North Scottsdale.
The Epileptology Program will be a destination Center for the region. Leadership skills and ability to meet with community physicians to promote the EMU and out-patient Epileptology services will be required.
