The Department of Neurology at the Barrow Neurological Institute/St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center is seeking an adult epileptologist to join an established Epilepsy program.
The qualified candidate must be either board certified or board eligible in Neurology and have completed a 2 year Clinical Neurophysiology/Epilepsy fellowship. The clinical responsibilities of this full time position include monitoring epilepsy patients at our state of art 10 bed epilepsy monitoring unit, pre-surgical evaluation, performing Wada studies, interpretation of inpatient and outpatient EEGs and evoked potential studies, participating in our busy intraoperative monitoring, and following the epilepsy patients in the outpatient epilepsy clinic. The candidate is expected to participate in teaching fellows, neurology residents, and medical students and to develop independent research.
