Epileptologist – One of the founding members of NAEC

Ready for a change? Join MINCEP Epilepsy Care, the original comprehensive epilepsy program. This is a special opportunity for an epileptologist committed to providing high quality medical and surgical treatment. MINCEP, a Level 4 epilepsy center, is associated with Abbott Northwestern Hospital, one of America’s premiere neuroscience centers. Here you will find an intellectually stimulating environment in patient diagnostics with a long history of clinical research. We perform invasive monitoring studies and our volume of surgical cases are comparable to that of most teaching centers. Work as part of an integrated team with doctors Robert J. Gumnit, Ilo E. Leppik, Thaddeus S. Walczak, Lizbeth S. de Padua and Lawrence P. Hudson.

If you have completed the one year fellowship but have not been working as an epileptologist, MINCEP will round out your training while you are in a staff position.

Minneapolis-St. Paul's strong, diversified economy, coupled with plentiful health care, recreation options and some of the best schools in the nation, have made the Twin Cities a destination for thousands of new residents every year.

While residents take full advantage of Minneapolis' recreational opportunities, it's the city's bustling downtown business core and cutting-edge restaurants, theaters and shops that make it a standout. From the celebrated chefs and usage of fresh, local ingredients to the big-name retailers and one-of-a-kind shops, downtown Minneapolis really brings its residents together. And talk about connections: more than 8 miles of glass-enclosed skyways link all of these amenities together.

The Twin Cities continually achieve high marks when it comes to education. Minnesota was the first state to develop "indicators of success" (to ensure the high school experience is relevant for students to prosper in their post-secondary plans) and one of only 10 states to receive a grant to develop statewide goals and benchmarks for student achievement. Through the state's open enrollment program, your child can attend schools in districts outside of where you live.
