Epilepsy Research at UC Davis – Sacramento, CA
An opportunity is available to participate in laboratory research studying basic mechanisms of epilepsy and evaluating novel epilepsy therapies in rodent models. The position is located in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Rogawski at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. The laboratory is fully equipped for animal experimentation, cellular neurophysiology (tissue culture and brain slice recording), molecular biology, and bioanalytical chemistry. Candidates experienced with animal seizure models are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates at the research associate, graduate student, post-doctoral and junior faculty level will be considered. Salary is commensurate with the level of experience.
