Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship – University at Buffalo
The Neurology Department at the University at Buffalo, New York has an unexpected opening for a clinical neurophysiology fellowship starting 7/1/2014. This fellowship will provide an extraordinary experience in adult and child epilepsy including a wide variety of EEG studies, epilepsy management, pre-surgical evaluation, invasive monitoring, and evoked potentials. We are a Level IV member of the NAEC Association with a state of the art 8 bed long term monitoring unit. The EMG training is an outstanding program with a diverse faculty of 3 neuromuscular attendings, including the department chairman. Fellows will have the opportunity to perform a wide variety of neuromuscular procedures including routine EMG, nerve conduction studies, repetitive stimulation, single fiber, as well as a botox clinic.
The clinical neurophysiology fellowship is a one year ACGME approved program for PGY V child or adult neurologists, and fulfills the requirements for taking the certifying examination in clinical neurophysiology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
