Epilepsy Currents, published by the American Epilepsy Society, is a comment and review journal for clinicians and researchers. Each issue contains commentaries that interpret and critique recently published original research articles and short topical scholarly reviews written by experts. Topics in basic science and clinical research related to epilepsy are identified for coverage in the journal and commentaries are written by a board of distinguished contributing editors.
Epilepsy Currents is published under Creative Commons CC BY license in six bimonthly issues per year. AES members receive the print subscription as a benefit of membership. All content published in Epilepsy Currents is available at EpilepsyCurrents.org and PubMed Central.
The journal abides by the uniform conflict of interest disclosure policy of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. Unsolicited manuscripts are not accepted.
